Terms and Conditions

I. Ownership and Obligations in Brief
1. Movierapture
will not pay or make any financial demands of the author of a submitted review
and the author of a submitted review will not pay or make any financial demands
of Movierapture.
2. Except insofar as Movierapture will have the right to
keep a given review posted and will ask that the author of a review acknowledge
that his/her review was originally posted on Movierapture, if he/she decides to
publish it elsewhere, the author will retain full control over his/her
work.
II. Ownership and Obligations in Detail
1.
Movierapture and its webmaster (Keith Allen) retain the right to reject, post,
leave posted, or remove any review submitted.
2. Although the author of a
review may request that a posted review be removed, the webmaster retains the
right to reject that request and leave the review on-line. The author waves the
right to appeal the decision made with regard to this by the webmaster.

The author of a review will retain the copyright of his/her work, subject to
the conditions outlined in paragraphs II.1, II.2, II.7, and II.8.
4. The
author of a review will retain the right to publish or distribute his review in
any other publication, website, etc., subject to the conditions outlined in
paragraphs II.1, II.2, and II.7, so long as the text of that review is
accompanied by the following declaration, "Originally made available on
Movierapture.com." The webmaster retains the right to seek compensation in any
case where this agreement is violated.
5. All profits generated from
advertising placed on Movierapture, including any advertising placed on the
page on which a submitted review has been posted, will accrue to the webmaster,
not to the author of that review.
6. The author of a review will retain
the rights to profits generated from the publication of his review on any
website other than Movierapture or in any magazine or book, as well as to
profits generated from the direct citation in some source (book, magazine,
etc.) other than Movierapture of his review as posted on Movierapture, unless
the author fails to abide by the terms outlined in paragraphs II.7 and II.8.
7. The author will provide a valid E-mail, a link to which will be placed
on the page where his/her review appears, and is responsible for informing the
webmaster within ten days of the date the review is posted if the link provided
is incorrect. If either the link or the E-mail are not valid, or cease to be
valid at any point, the author waves all his/her rights to copyright, control,
or compensation with regard to his/her review. These will default to the
webmaster of Movierapture.
8. The author waves his/her rights as an author
and his/her rights to any compensation for profits generated by his/her review
if he/she fails to respond within the 90 days subsequent to any attempt by the
webmaster or any other person to contact him/her about such profits by means of
the E-mail given on the webpage where his/her review appears.
9. The
author of a review will not hold the webmaster responsible for the loss of any
real or potential income which might have accrued to him/her as a result of
his/her writing a review.
10. The author of a review will not hold the
webmaster responsible for any financial loss suffered by him/herself or any
other person as a result of the content of his/her review.
11. The author
assumes full legal responsibility for the content of his/her review and affirms
that his/her review is not in breach of any relevant law.
12. The author
waves all rights to compensation from Movierapture for the publication of his
review on that website as well as to any indemnification for disputes, issues,
etc. relating thereto.
13. All disputes will be subject to the laws of
that locality in which the webmaster is residing at the time the dispute is
brought to his attention, currently, as of 4 January, 2006, Oxford,
Oxfordshire, England, United Kingdom, and will be settled in the courts having
jurisdiction over that locality. This locality is subject to change and changes
will be indicated by emending this agreement.
